The turbocharged 3.8L V6 engine was intercooled and fed by sequential fuel injection. The T type also received the Grand Touring suspension, which was a performance upgrade to help keep the power firmly planted to the pavement. This includes independent upper and lower control arms with coil springs up front with a 32mm diameter anti roll bar.
