Factory 18″ five-spoke wheels feature wheel locks and wear 255/45 Yokohama Avid ENVigor tires showing 2014 date codes. The X-Runner’s sport suspension was lower than the contemporaneous Tacoma’s, and features Bilstein shocks at all four corners as well as sway bars front and rear. The X-Runner also was fitted with Toyota’s X-Brace frame reinforcement. Braking is from power-assisted discs in front and drums out back.
